hahahha. good news for all xavier university ateneo de cagayan students! preschool, gradeschool, high school and college. rumor has it that all classes will start on june 16! yeah, my mom and my friends told me that. some say that it was in the newspaper. i dont know which one. a forwarded text message was sent to me, it said:
from fr. jett:"i just talked to manny angeles ched chair. classes postponed to june 15. pls disseminate." june 16 xu due to charter day.
hahahha. hmmm, at first i didnt believe it. but when i ask my friends, they told me that classes were moved to june 16. i still didnt believed them, not until it was my mom who told me that. YEEESH! 1 week extension summer! hahahaa.
so now its official. students of xavier university ateneno de cagayn, all levels, will report to class on june 16, 2009

bigby's
hahaha. so after sm, i spent a whole 15 minutes deciding whether i'l take the taxi or jeep. if taxi, costly but faster. on jeep, cheep but slower. so i decided to take the jeep.
i took two trips. first was from sm to gaerlan, and from gaerlan to ketkai. the trip was okay though. although i arrived 20 mins past noon, i was all alone. my friends were not there yet. HA! and to think i considered taking a taxi.
so i waited for about 15 minutes and then they arrived. i noticed pauline carrying a cartolina but took no further interest in it.
so we entered the fray and i noticed izra whispering something to a guy. at first, i thought he was another relative; until he led us to the second room. well, i didnt see anything wrong about that. bigby's was getting really crowded. so we went there and picked a table.
izra asked me to accompany her to ketkai coz she wants her macbook looked up. so we ordered and went to ket kai. we talked about stuff and laughed.. then after getting her macbook looked up, she told me to walk as fast as i can. yes, not run. but walk.. as fast as i can. lol.
so we went inside bigby's and when i entered the second room...
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU..."
OMG. the cooks and waiters were singing me a birthday song! oh noo. hahaha. last time i checked, my birthday was april 24, not may 20. hahaha. i turned my shocked face to izra but then she gave me a dont-say-a-thing-or-else look. hahaha. so i continued to let them sing for me. wow. hahaha.
so we ate and had some laughs and tooks pictures and stuff. weeeeeeeee! they would treat me.. so, the bill was theirs. hahahaha. thanks guys! so, we went to places and then to izra's house for the much anticipated sleepover! bwahahahaha.

Dining with the stars
the day before yesterday, we went to marco hotel to celebrate a certain birthday party. we, including a number of family friends, would stay there overnight. it was okay though, not really that boring.
i had no one to interact with, for all the other kids were younger than i am. and so, they went swimming. i am a swimmer, and almost everyday i get to swim. i have grown tired of water. so naturally, i didnt swim. for i already had enough swimming to last a lifetime.
so while the children were swimming and the adults were drinking, talking and laughing their hearts out, i didnt involve myself in such dire activities. i sought peace in a secluded corner and played computer til i couldnt play anymore.
after playing, i watched the television. it was now late so the children were playing rather than swimming. but the adults didnt cease their rhapsody of fun, so i continued watching the television with occasional disturbances.
after being bored by the shows in the tv, i grabbed a couple of dvds and watched in a computer. it was nearly 3 in the morning so i decided to sleep, though the others didnt share my liking for a warm, cozy bed. instead they continued their pursuits of whatever that made them happy.
i woke up considerably early, 8am sharp. the fun had somewhat subsided and everyone was exhausted, perhaps because of lack of sleep and rest. everyone, that is, except for me. so we went down to the restaurant for our breakfast and we werent the only ones there, of course. there was one family halfway into their breakfast and a group of young men, probably mid-20's, in another table. we sat in the table next to them. at the end of the food table, their was a chef wherein you could ask im to cook your eggs, lol. hahaha. and i was behind this guy who was with the young men, he noticed me and let me cut in line in front of him. naturally, i agreed.
after eating my exquisitely delicious breakfast, i glanced in the next table to get a good look of the young men. they obviously just woke up; their eyes baggy, hair messy and ruffled, they look like they were sleep walking. but there was something strange about them. they look familiar but i just couldnt tell who they were. so they left and asked the waiter.
nothing could have prepared me to what i was going to hear...
Hale and kamikazee. its a wonder why you didnt asked for their autograph, you dont know them! hahaha
do mine ears deceive me? i wasnt quite sure what i have just heard. the men who were sitting near us were from famous rock bands. sweet mother of god. we took pictures on our table and stuff but all of us didnt notice two of the most famoust rock bands in the philippines dined near us. lol, it was quite an achievement. then the commotion started. the entire dining hall was talking. talking of what just happened, of who just ate there, of who they utterly and boldly ignored. i wasnt a fan of them though, i just felt stupid that i lost an opportunity like this one. it was within my reach, and still i lost it.
i wouldnt ask for their autographs, lol. if they would ask me to name just one song of theirs, i wouldnt be able to give an asnwer :D

wednesday the 13th
ohh noes! it's... it's.. no, i dare not say it.. but i must. it's...
WEDNESDAY THE 13TH!!!
tan tan tan.. hahaha. lol, you thought it was friday the 13th? hahaha. so, i decided that im gonna make a post about this day because this day was super special to me. :D
it all started when i woke up.. (again)
i woke up early that day. i texted my friends, kath and pauline, but they didnt reply. i think they're still sleeping. so i abandoned all pretense of fixing my bed and went down stairs a little hurriedly; as though afraid of being attacked by pillows and blankets. i went to find, to my surprise, my parents ans sis werent there. it was already 8:00 am. so i ate my breakfast in total solitude while watching the tv.
after that, i went upstairs to find out something very shocking...
i forgot to ask my mom for money. i only have a few pesos left in me, so i musnt spend a lot in my day out. i texted my friends again and only pauline replied. she told me that she cant go with me to school without her parents knowing. so we decided we could meet in lim ket kai mall. heart of the city, limket kai center.. lalalala :D
so after taking a bath, changing my clothes, brushing my teeth and inspecting myself in the mirror, i took off to school to get my report card.
report card?? but you should have gotten your report card a--
yeah, i know. a MONTH ago. the schedule for getting our report cards was on april 15 but i was too damn lazy and tired to get it, i had more important matters to attend to. :D and well, i was better off getting my report card late rather than on time because i absolutely had no competition whatsoever. so when i went to get my card, all was smooth sailin for me.
except for the results though. :D
ehem,. after that i stumbled upon some classmates of mine who automatically attacked me for not inviting them to my birthday. lol, i was utterly bemused that, although i am unimportant to them, they were still able to remember my birthday. hahaha.
so after that, i rode a jeepney to gaerlan and rode another jeepney, finally, to limket kai. naturally, i proceeded upstairs to WOF (worlds of fun) to play tekken. i bought 2 tokens but used only 1. I won about 4 games then pauline called me that she was waiting at netopia. so i stopped playing immediately and abandoned my seat of grandeur at the tekken machine. it was a first time for me. i stopped playing on my own accord, not because i was defeated. so in other words, i was undefeated. lol. hahahaha.
so i went away and when i looked back, i saw by bemused opponent looking at me. hahaha. i was too good for him anyway. i won the first two rounds. so i went inside netopia to search for pauline, only to find out that she was standing OUTSIDE netopia. hahahaha. it was a wild goose chase! :D
and at that moment, kathleen arrived. weeee, the threesome became three. lol. we decided to take our lunch at mang inasal. but when we got there, we found out that the lights were off. cool, they were saving electicity. hahaha.
so we decided to eat at sunburst, a restaurant at rosario arcade infamous for it's PECULIAR chicken. (i'll write a review about that)
after that, we watched a movie entitled SUPER TYPHOON. lol, the movie was okay though, if it werent for the fact that it was in CHINESE. and the subtitles were in wrong grammar. only pauline and kathleen understood the movie. gaaahd, i really have to take chinese lessons. but the movie wasnt a total waste though. HAHAHA. wont say anything more here! :D
so after the god-forsaken movie, they told me that i was going to play tekken and they'll cheer for me. so when i went there, i saw this guy who was winning like crazy. lol, i met him and we were evenly matched. always a close fight. but knowing that pauline and kathleen were looking, the chances dropped to 60-40 in favor of my opponent.. i really get nervous when non-tekkeners watch me play. but then i wasnt able to play because there were many people in line and pauline was being fetched by german. no, hes not german. he ies german. pronounced as herman. hahaha. and so we went home and quite amazingly...
i left my report card and ID in pauline's bag. hahaha. il get it some other time nahh. :D
