high school

when i enter the new school year, i, together with my batch mates, will be known as the seniors. the proud seniors. we have earned that degree of respect for we have shown bravery in the midst of terror. in the past years in high school, we have faced challenges hitherto. and after every year, some of our comrades leaves us. we are the lucky ones who survived, who strive to be better, who became seniors

when we were freshmen, we were young and naive.. we were all possessing this dream graduating. we were still learning the ropes and we have yet to learn about life. we didnt care about anything, for we were enjoying our thing as a person in high school. for us, it was a wonderful feeling. to others, it is merely the next to life. we have now reached the point in our lives where we will truly live it.

sophomores year. the time when things get a little serious. after enjoying a full year as a freshman, being in high school is as common as being a person. we are getting a taste of life and learning more stuff. we noticed that we were now fewer in numbers, a thing that was the dreadful inevitable. so we now gained a little experience and hopefully we could exercise some responsibility over ourselves.

junior life. ahh yes. this is the big time when we are really face life in its worst, the point when we feed our inner voyeur. in this bumpy year, we have faced a lot of down times and we have learned more in this crucial point in high school. we now have faced the reality that life isnt all that fair. we must work hard for something we really need, for the time of spoon feeding is in the past. still, we have decreased in numbers but thankful that some of us passed. if ever there was a time to get serious, this was it.

seniors. finally. we have reached this point of our lives when we will be rewarded with the fruits of our labor. the point where we are ready for the next part of our lives. we are simply mastering everything we learned. we are the ones with the most experiences, and as such, we tend to make wiser decisions. having considerably lost about half of our batch mates, we are therefore, the luckiest, for we will soon have our dream come true.

for the undergrads, many think that being a senior not something to get proud or excited, alas, how sadly dim is their mind. for being a senior is everything we really wanted to be. it is the closest thing to graduation.

i am now nearing my finish line, i have almost run my course. i have passed the biggest part of our education. for all these years, after all i have been through. i wish i had lived my high school to the fullest.

it is the one thing i regret in all of high school.

  1. i love this entry. :)

i miss HS. those years are really my happy school years. i learned a lot of stuffs there. and i get to accomplish a lot of stuffs, especially when i was still a junior stud.

senior year is the year where you get to do most of the important things. and yes, it's somehow sad because it's your last year. it's a year of saying your last goodbyes to almost everyone. HAAAAY.

    ako na ang emo. :))
