my dramatic awakening

it was night, and i was getting drowsy; yet i wasnt ready to sleep. or should i say, i dont want to go to sleep.

i was watchin television. i was only watching one channel for i had no other choice, my god-forsaken television only acquires one channel and that is GMA. i really had no other choice. if i did have a choice, i wouldnt care less watching GMA over and over again every night for the rest of my god-forsaken television's life.

i decided to turn the lights off and lie down while watchin the tv. it was very boring for i had no one to text to, only waiting for the moment when i would soccumb to drowsiness.

it was a little past midnight and i was having trouble keeping my eyes open..

i was keeping an effort of opening my eyes. i forced myself to accept the ridiculously impossible; that GMA was a very worthwhile show. i screwed up my eyes just to watch a joke on GMA's bubble gang. next thing i knew, the sandman had gone by and i thought no more.. wandering through the train of thought until i had enough sense to get up the next day.

after that, i heard something very peculiar. i heard a familiar song and i knew that it only had started. so i woke up but remained firmly on my backside.

i recognized that song, but it took my snoozing brain a moment or too before i knew the title of that song.

"...perlas ng silanganan.."

wait.. WHAAAT? am i having some hearing disorder? coz i swore i heard---

"...sa dibdib moy buhayy..."

are you kidding me? how corny is this? waking up in the crack of dawn hearing my nation's national anthem. this is some scene, i never expected waking up so early in the morning hearing our national anthem.

but there did it come from?

i recoiled and noticed that my god-forsaken television was on. oh, i forgot to turn it off last night. GMA was starting and i glanced up at my clock, it was still 4 in the morning. so i went back to sleep, thinking that i should write a post about this. lol, hahaha.

and so starts another boring summer day with nothing to do but the usual; net, text, eat, net, text and eat.

another day has gone by, another day closer to the sleepover! :D:D:D
